- Download and install Software from below link in desktop/laptop for creating Wi-Fi hotspot.PHP, CKEd
https://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/ - Restart the computer and go to Control PanelNetwork and Sharing Center.
- Click Change adapter settings(left side menu list) and enable Wireless Network Connection.
Also enable Wireless Network Connection having caption/description as Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter as well if it appears in the list. - Open Virtual Router Manager (All Programs->Virtual Router) and from Shared Connection drop-down list select the active connected network you want to make a hotspot.
- Enable Wi-Fi in Ipad and it will list the connection that you just created and shared in the desktop/laptop.
- Select the connection, connect(Give password if any you provided while creating hotspot) and happy connecting to the world.
NOTE:
- Restarting computer is mandatory after installing the software.
- If it shows error like ‘The group or resource is not in the correct state to perform the requested operation error?’
then run the command as:netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allowfrom the command line and then try again.
